March prepper chat nights are Friday, March 3rd and 17th at 6pm PST/9pm EST.

And as a reminder, Prepper Chat Nights are on the first and third Friday of every month on Discord by video or voice chat with other members of the community.

Gideon, EzzlyAmuzzed, Seth, and I already had the occasional Discord voice chat as part of prepper game nights, which was a lot of fun. Looking forward to a few more people joining this time.

I enjoyed chat night. It’s nice to communicate by means of something more than typing. Thanks for organizing it, and I hope to see / hear folks next month.

 

It sure was a lot of fun! I don’t know very many people in my personal life who prepare so it’s great to learn from others and motivates me when I hear what they do. 

 

Ditto! I’m really glad I got to see faces and hear voices! Though I was a little starstruck being on a call with John AND Gideon AND Carlotta! 😀

Eric, Raccoon, and I were talking on Discord just now about the fact that tomorrow is the first Friday of the month… so anyone up for monthly prepper chat night tomorrow? I think it will be at least the three of us— 6 pm Pacific/9 pm Eastern, Friday 1/6, on the Discord’s voice channel. Hope to see some of you there!

Here’s a guide on how to use video chat through Discord. The voice and video settings are in the same place and you can test your set up without needing to get into a voice channel.  

Normally I suggest disabling automatic input sensitivity, as it can cut you off if you’re not loud enough.
